Miss Sue has taught ballet classes at many studios in the Buffalo area since 1971. She was a soloist with the Royale Dance Theater and performed the lead role of Gerda in their Snow Queen performance at Shea's Performing Arts Center in 1984. Miss Sue studied the Russian Vaganova Ballet Syllabus under Karl Singletary and with teacher & mentor Bernadine DeMike. She was also a founding member of the Buffalo Inner City Ballet Performing Company where she performed and was on the teaching staff. Miss Sue co-directed the Fine Arts Dance Academy for four years before opening Performing Arts Dance Academy in 1994.
