Weather-Related Closings

In inclement weather, the studio will decide by 3:00 pm on weekdays or 8:00 am Saturdays whether we will be holding classes. We are not automatically closed if schools are closed. Please call for our studio voicemail message or tune to Closing Central on Channel 2.

Attendance and Visitation

Students are expected to attend all of their classes. Please arrive promptly and in proper attire. If your child is sick or will be absent for an extended period of time, please notify the staff. To assure a quiet and professional learning atmosphere, visitation is limited to 1 week per month.

Parents/sitters who drop off their children and leave are encouraged to come in to the studio at least once a month to pick up a newsletter. Parents who wait, must do so in the Parent Lounge next to the smaller classroom, NOT upstairs.

Special Needs Students

Communication is necessary between parent and teacher. It is not fair to your child, the teacher, or other class members when necessary information has been withheld concerning the mental and/or physical disability of a young child. Please let us know if there are limitations so that we may better serve you and your child's need.

For students of all ages

Please place your child's name or initials in every shoe. Performing Arts is not responsible for shoes left at the studio. Lost and found will be given to charity on the 15th day of each month.

Discipline

We strive to maintain an organized and orderly family atmosphere. Your child will always be treated with the highest respect. Individual situations or problems that may arise will first and always be referred to you, the parent.

Work Scholarship & Assisting

We have a limited number of cleaning work scholarships available each year to dependable and responsible parents.

Dancers who are 11 years of age and older are eligible to apply to assist classes. You'll be contacted in August and will be required to go through training. Students will either assist or demonstrate.

Interested parties must submit application in writing.
