Tuition Information

1.) Tuition is based on a yearly fee and is divided into 9 equal payments.  All 9 billing months (September through May) are full payment months regardless of holiday recesses or the number of classes in any given month.  The registration fee will be waived/deducted for any family paying tuition in full by September 30th.

2.) Tuition statements will be filed on the payment wall in the foyer each week.  Payments are due on the 1st class day of each month. Performing Arts gives a generous 20 day grace period.  A $5 late fee will be added to every payment received after the 21st day of each month.  Most families pay by check as cash receipts will not be given.  Checks are made payable to: "Performing Arts".  If you wish to pay by CREDIT CARD, you may do so at the Studio B cash register.  No surcharges.

3.) Please return the statement & envelope with your payment to ensure proper credit.  Place payments in the kiosk payment slot. 

4.) Monthly payments are non-refundable and cannot be pro-rated.  Students can make up missed classes in any other scheduled class in the same subject/level in the 1st semester.  Full attendance is expected 2nd semester.  No tuition deductions will be made for missed classes.

5.) There is a charge of $25 for all returned checks.

6 class hours per week (2 people).........................$199/month

8+ class hrs. (OR) UNLIMITED 2 person rate......$249/month
9 class hours per week (3 people)..........................$279/month
10+ class hrs. (OR) UNLIMITED 3 person rate....$309/month
(additional 1/2 hour at any interval is mid rate)

"Unlimited class" students must be at par in class level and will participate in each classes' routine.
Performance & Costume Fees
(non-refundable)

Costume deposits are $45 per costume payable anytime before January 10th.  The school must be notified in writing by January 10th if you will not be finishing out the year and do not intend to be a part of the year end performance.  Otherwise costumes will be ordered and you will be liable for the costume fees.

Costume Balances are due in April and are the total costume cost (generally $65 - $125) minus the $45 deposit.  Your total costume cost includes the costume, tights, gloves, trims, bows, extra sequins, headpieces, special shoes, small props etc. only if needed, and will be purchased by the school for your convenience.

Alterations are the responsibility of the school, however you may be asked to do minor strap sewing, etc.

The Recital Fee is $50 per family due the 1st week in May with your last tuition payment.  Performing Arts has reserved seating for each of its shows.  Your paid recital fee, costumes, and all tuition payments will entitle you to receive a limited number of reserved seating tickets.  You may also purchase extra tickets as they become available.  Performing Arts has the right to limit the number of extra tickets sold to any one family.
Solos & Duets

Because of show length, PADA has the right to strictly limit the number of Solos/Duets.
Rules and restrictions must be applied to have the most qualified dancers participate in solo numbers:

                               1.) You must be at the int./adv. level of traning in subject
                               2.) You must be actively registered in 2 or more classes
                               3.) Non-seniors must be studying ballet at least once a week
                               4.) You must have outstanding attendance
                               5.) You must have approval by your teacher and director
                               6.) Due to show length, we prefer 12th grade students

Trios and Quartets follow all rules with the exception of #3

Rehearsal cost
payable BEFORE classes begin

SOLO - $175 guarantees (6) 1/2 hour rehearsals/equivalent time
DUET - $280 guarantees (6) 1/2 hour rehearsals/equivalent time
TRIO - $330 guarantees (6) 1/2 hour rehearsals/equivalent time
QUARTET - $400 guarantees (6) 1/2 hour rehearsals/equivalent time

Graduating seniors ONLY have the option to choreograph their own routine upon approval but must pay a $50 performance fee.
